Courier Font: Assignment/Task info given to the players.
Voice Over: Ten unlikely strangers.. living in a secluded hotel. They will be participating in challenges to raise the game’s pot – Post points. The winner of the game will receive this amount, and it will be added to their GW account. They will also be awarded GW Supporter Status.
However, it’s not as simple as that. One of the ten is secretly a saboteur, a double agent, working with the Host to lower the pot by misleading others and sabotaging the challenges. They are the elusive Evil Puppet Master. (EPM for short).
At the end of each round, the players will take a quiz on the identity of the EPM. The player with the lowest score will be executed, being eliminated from the game. In the end, only 3 will remain, the Loser, the Winner, and of course, the Evil Puppet Master.
You as the reader can also play along, by trying to discern who may be sabotaging the challenges, and deceiving others. Perhaps you can figure out the true identity of the EPM before anyone else.
Let us begin..
*The players gathered in the Lounge of the hotel, waiting patiently for their host to arrive. After a while, Mateui finally appeared, and presented the players with a challenge.*
Mateui: Randomly, I have split you all into 2 groups of 4.
Group 1: Moriason, Illness Illusion, WuJing, Logan.
Group 2: Chikochamp, Mr. Y, OwlStorm, TheCreeper.
Each group must choose a Company name for themselves, and make a Company Avatar, Signature, and Member Title.
After you have these 4 things completed, you will have to advertise yourselves, and get other members of GW to change their signature/avatar/member title to your corresponding Company products (Avatar/Sig/Member Title).
Each item is worth a certain number of points:
Signature = 1 point
Member Title = 1 point
Avatar = 2 points
Each group must acquire at least 30 points. (Or if not, the total points that they will get at the end of the challenge will either be 0, 10 or 20, depending on how close they are to each value. If you get 29 points, then well, tough luck, but you’ll only earn 20 points. In all instances, I will round down, so if you had 9, you would earn NOTHING).
If a GW member has all 3 items changed to the same Group, they are worth 5 points instead of only 4.
Each group must make one, and only One Official Assessment topic, in the MTCIII Forums, where the GW members they have recruited must post in. Only those GW members who post in that topic will count toward the 30 points.
Which ever group has the most points at the end of the day will all receive an exemption. (So, although no points after 30 count, they will be considered to see which group will receive an exemption)

*Mateui left, leaving the players to separate into their two groups to discuss their plans. The groups went into two different rooms, each with computers within. They logged onto GW, and began to work.*
*Group1 came up with the company name: old skool, and Group2 named themselves Bully Co. Both teams set up a topic, and began recruiting people all over GW.*
WuJing: So, for our first challenge we have been split into 2 random groups. Our goal is to create a group name, complete with avatar signature and member title... and hire people in. Fun! We are the "old skool" group;. Why? Because we're that hardcore.
Seriously though, Its going to be freakin' hard to get members to change themselves to old skool... just like I'd imagine its going to be hard for people in the other group. Luckily, old skool is "hip" with these youngsters so it shall be so.
On a side note... I wonder if I was the one who tied for execution yesterday. If I was completely wrong about MrY... then I would have failed most of the questions.
TheCreeper: Basically, we have to create a company (with an avatar, signature, and member title) and get others to use it and post in a topic.
I got paired with Owl, Chiko, and Y. Luckily, Owl created the stuff, so I'm advertising it as we speak.
UPDATE
Alright, we got off to an extremely slow start, and I was banned from the gamemaker channel for "spamming" and I began to lose hope.
However, Mr.Y arrived and refueled me, and we have taken the lead. Yes! We have a chance for exemption! This is dramatically help me with my predictions on WuJing, because if he's eliminated, he cannot be the EPM.
Moriason: Over the course of the day it was a very tough challenge, and it was down to the wire at almost all times. At first it look like we completely STOLE it, but they came back.
*Hours later, after recruiting, arguing, frustration, and complaining, the results were in. Both groups stood patiently awaiting the outcome.*
Mateui: Old Skool wins!
Moriason, Illness Illusion, WuJing, and Logan now all have an Exemption.
Congrats. 60 Points have been added to the pot.
*The 4 winners jumped up with joy, while the other 4 were saddened by their failure, as well as angry with themselves for losing.*
*The night came, and went, and in the morning, after the players had woken up and eaten breakfast, they were beckoned into a new room. As they entered, they sat down on seats that were provided, and began to wait.*
*Moments later, Mateui appeared.*
Mateui: You are automatically given 40 points. The catch is, that you will have to try to keep these points. A secret auction is about to occur, with the 4 exemptions earned in the last challenge on the platter.
Each exemption is named: A, B, C, or D.
(Moriason, Logan, Illness Illusion, and WuJing each have either A, B, C, or D) (You do not know which one has which - but they each know which one they are currently holding)
The whole group can use up a total of 40 points, which they may use in bidding for the exemptions. Each player gets 5 points to do with whatever they want to, and each player has the following options:
- Take an exemption from: (Player Name) (Cost: 1 Points) (Success Rate: Depends if that player has any exemptions)
- Take all exemptions from: (Player Name) (Cost: 2 Points) (Success Rate: Depends if that player has any exemptions)
- Steal Exemption: (A/B/C/D) (Cost: 4 Points) (Success Rate: 100%, unless that exemption is destroyed)
- Destroy All Exemptions from: (Player Name) (Cost: 3 Points) (Success Rate: Depends if that player has any exemptions)
- Destroy a Single Exemption: (A/B/C/D) (Cost: 5 Points, -1 on your Quiz) (Success Rate: 100%)
If you want to use any of these at any time – you will need to send me a message secretly. You can do this as many times until you run out of your 5 points.
Throughout the day, you will be told how many points of the 40 are still left – but you will not know who actually is using their points.
The auction will end at a predetermined time later tonight, or when all 40 points are spent.
*Mateui left, and the players looked at each other.*
Moriason: So the odds are we're likely to lose the exemptions we won quite fairly yesterday.
Makes the last competition nearly pointless, no?
*Solemnly, all the players agreed that they were not going to use any of their points, and that the current exemption holders would stay exemption holders.. They forgot to realize that the EPM was still among them..*
*After the discussion, all the players were separate ways into their rooms.*
*Minutes later, an announcement was heard throughout the hotel.*
Mateui: 36/40 Points Currently Left.
Moriason: Who used them?!
Logan: TELL US >=(!
TheCreeper: I thought we had an agreement.
Grr...I can't trust anyone anymore.
Mr. Y: Who was stupid enough to spend four points?
I mean, really. If you're going to turn on us and spend your points, why don't you just spend the last fifth point? Stupid.
*Hours passed, with more announcement periodically coming on. The players were all suspicious of one another – anyone could be betraying them.*
*Finally, another announcement:*
Mateui: The Auction is over. Please gather in the Lounge for the results.
*The players obeyed, and were soon standing in the Lounge. Mateui came in and stood before them.*
Mateui: Overall, in total, 15 points were spent. The total money earned this round was 45 points, and this has been added to the pot.

*Mateui walked away, leaving the players to an ensuing argument on betrayal and greed.*
TheCreeper: At first, I was going to do my usual thing and just save the points, but I decided...fuck them. I need exemption. So, I did the first one.
I've explained myself to Chiko, and I hope he doesn't betray me.
Alright, all is well. I took WuJing's exemption, and Chiko took Mori's exemption. Wolf, however, did not loose his.
Illness Illusion: Wow, we spent 15 points (glad I was only 2 of them x_x). So it seems at least Chiko and Creeper lied in our agreement not spend ><.
Moriason: This day, I did not like. I lost my fucking exemption! Why? Because YOU made a REALLY shitty challenge, and TheCreeper lied. I know now I can't trust Creeper at least. My suspicions of WuJing being the EPM are pretty high now too, because on top of everything else he destroyed one of the exemptions yesterday. Luckily Wolfie STOLE his, so he got screwed.
Well, there's not too much to write about this round. Lots of people got screwed over, a lot of work went into it. I just hope I can survive the quiz, yeah?
*Later that night, the unexempt players each went into the quiz room one by one, taking the Quiz which would determine which person would be eliminated.*
