Episode 14: A Tough Decision
Players Still in the Game:

Edoni Tribe:
Jennifer Sweeney
Joey Mury
Natalie Kink

The Jury:
Ian Murphy
Randy Tahkoer
Sarah Heiderman
Evan Muse
Friedrich Nietzsche
Johanus Bartholomew

Voted Out:
Amanda Tingay
Earl Oldson
John Doe
Jason Lucca
Mark Grant
Alexander Cromwell
Foyle Aber

Over at the Edoni Tribe:

Joey: All is quiet now. All threats are gone. Now we have to wait for the final challenge. This is where my survival is at it’s biggest threat. I must win to secure Natalie and I a place in the final two, ensuring my win.

It’s down to three
And only one can win
Will you be saddened
Or will you grin?

The jury has grown
One less than complete
Win back your fate
Or accept defeat

For the final two
An oppression must face
Either with outstanding achievement
Or with endless disgrace

What happens when suddenly
As if a priceless possession fell
You collapse without fighting
Parting farewell

Since this is the last time
A test you’ll endure
Which will determine ultimately
Whether you’re a liar or pure

It may be so simple
Yet hard to agree
Plead your case wisely
And grant immunity

Natalie: If the tree mail is anything to go by, this'll be a long challenge :P

Jennifer: Sounds like this one could involve questions from the jury or something from how it says if your a liar or not. This challenge should be interesting.

Joey: Indeed. This is gonna be scary. I haven't lied really to anyone, but I just don't like the idea of so many people on the jury who hates us...

Challenge 14: Anti-Collaboration

Mateui: Since this is the final challenge, it will be the toughest one ever. Yet, you will also find out that it is the simplest one. The task at hand is extremely effortless, except your conversational skills will come into play.

The hardest one can do in this game is to agree. This is what the challenge will be based on. To win immunity, all of you must collaborate and discuss who shall win it. That’s right. Each of you will have to agree unanimously on who should receive immunity.

Simply discuss this among yourself in this topic, and then you must come to some sort of agreement. If you do, that person will be granted immunity, and they will have to choose a final 2 partner.

If you happen to not agree - there will be consequences...

For Immunity! Survivors ready? Discuss!

*The three remaining players gasped.*

Natalie: Oh my god...

Jennifer: This is sure not what I expected. Maybe we should first see if there's people who don't want it and then decide from there. Even though I'm not sure who I'd pick yet I volunteer to have it.

Joey: He's gone mad with power...

*The players discussed and discussed who should win immunity for several hours, yet they could not come to a consensus. They tried playing an online game to determine the winner, but that came to no avail. Finally, exhausted from this seemingly simple yet impossible task, they came to the bargaining table, with a proposition to the host.*

*Jennifer, Joey, and Natalie decided that they would allow the rest of GW to decide their fate. Thus, they inquired if creating a poll would be ok to determine the rightful winner. It was agreed upon, and the winner was:*

Mateui: Joey! Congratulations. You are guaranteed a spot in the Final 2, and you alone will have to make the grueling decision of who will be sitting next to you. You have until tonight to think about it.

Back at the Edoni Tribe

Joey: My ambition dissolved away when I learned about the challenge, however. The challenge was we had to discuss among ourselves who should get it. We looked at Mat as if he had gone totally mad. We finally sat down and couldn’t really get out of our shock, and negotiations went nowhere. We all realized what the situation might be depending on who won. Our focus soon turned to some sort of contest we could hold, an MSN game where the winner would be given immunity. We eventually decided to play Hexic, but that went nowhere. We then got the idea to hold a poll like they did on the last MTC. In the turnout, I WON! Who would’ve guessed?

...

Now what do I do?

Do I really want to vote for Natalie? That wouldn’t be fair to Jen, who’s just as deserving as Nat is. That night I got a PM from Jen pleading her case. It was then that I realized I could not please both of them. Someone’s getting hurt. But then, I wouldn’t be here if it weren’t for Natalie. But then, keeping Natalie is the coward’s way out. Winning would be no accomplishment. Not to mention that Natalie really doesn’t care about the final two, really, since she can’t win anyway with the whole alliance on the jury. Hmm..

Who do I choose?

Tribal Council

*The final 3 walked into the tribal council area and sat down.*

Mateui: We'll now bring in the jury.

*Immediately, being summoned, Johanus, Friedrich, Evan, Sarah, Randy, and Ian walked in and sat down on their side of the tribal council.*

Tonight, one of you three will be joining them.

Since Joey has won immunity, he will be the only person voting. He will decide who he will take with him to the final 2.

Joey, you may now vote.

*Joey stood up and began to walk to the voting podium. Once he got there - he thought long and hard about his decision. It was tough.. Should he choose the person who he feels he will beat, or the better friend of the two?*

*A name was written. And joey came back to the main seating area.*

I'll go tally the vote.

*Mat went and quickly came back with the vote canister in his hand.*

Once the vote is read the person voted out will be asked to leave the area immediately.

I'll read the vote.

The 14th person to be voted out of Making the Cut II: Indonesia is:
NATALIE KINK

Mateui: Please bring me your torch.

*Natalie stood up angrily and handed her torch over. She was angered by the fact that one of her closest friends had just betrayed her.. She wanted payback, and then she remembered that she would now be a jury member, one of 7 who would soon make the ultimate choice.*

Natalie, the tribe has spoken.

*The torch was snuffed. The jury was surprised at the outcome.*

Jennifer: Whoa I'm sure surprised, I seriously thought I was going to be voted out, especially from what Joey said in our MSN talk of "if either me or Jen got immunity it's obvious that the other one of us is going" (he said that several times). And then I became even more certain after checking here during school. I was even thinking about what to say here after reading that result (I was gonna write a big long post and had quite a few things in mind to say). Thanks for the unexpected result Joey.

I know how that you probably feel now Natalie. To me losing now would of felt worse then losing any other round in the game.

Natalie: A beautiful thing to wake up to, no? Well Joey, it's your loss.

Congratulations Joey and Jennifer. You both have made it to the final 2. From this point on in the game, everything rests in the jury's hands. Head back to camp, relax, and try to think up of what you're going to say to this jury to make them vote for you.

Joey: I vote for Natalie. It breaks my heart to do this, and she's a good friend and no doubt the reason I'm here. However, there is simply no reason to keep her. Letting her stay would be no payback. She stands no chance with the majority of the jury hating her, and hey, we want to put on a show here. Let's make it interesting.
