This tutorial is on the basics Custom Menu Systems its
not very hard at all to use.
i)Picture a Menu
ii)Teleport a Menu
iii)Things to rememver
iv)Wrapin it up

i)Picture a Menu
In RM2K there are really only 2 types of menus, picture menus
and teleport menus in my books. This first section will teach you
about picture menus.
Picture menus are menus that are made up of pictures
(well duh) to be quite blunt. Instead of teleporting a character to
a map with all the menu stuff on it, it simply just shows all your
characters/menus information by pictures. These few steps should
outline a good way to create this menu:

A)First off we want the menu to come up when we (the users) press
esc. this may seem a little hard but in RM2K it is done quite easily.
first we need to make a common event, on parrelel process called
menu. For the first line of code for this common event we want to
use the command: Enter Password, make the variable it goes
called password ( in this tutorial we will refer to it as variable[pass])
make sure all the boxes (1-6) are checked.

B)On the next line of code we want to put the command "disable menu"
and we want to disable the menu.

C)On the next line we want to implement an IF statemement. The if will be
something like this: IF variable[pass] = 6 THEN:

D)Under the THEN part of the IF statement you can start to add your menu.
this could be done many ways with pictures, you can show your
current stats etc. with the pictures, but this will be explained in chapter four.

ii)TELEPORT A MENU
A)First off we want the menu to come up when we (the users) press
esc. this may seem a little hard but in RM2K it is done quite easily.
first we need to make a common event, on parrelel process called
menu. For the first line of code for this common event we want to
use the command: Enter Password, make the variable it goes
called password ( in this tutorial we will refer to it as variable[pass])
make sure all the boxes (1-6) are checked.

B)On the next line of code we want to put the command "disable menu"
and we want to disable the menu.

C)On this line of code we are gonna use the "Hero Memorize Place"
simply add this code along with the three variables involved with
it.

D)On the next line we want to implement an IF statemement. The if will be
something like this: IF variable[pass] = 6 THEN:

E)Under the THEN part of the statement we are gonna teleport the
hero, we do this by using the teleport code. Simplay teleport the hero
to your menu.

F)When in your menu just remember to exit by using the stored variables when
you used in the Hero Memorize Place ;).

iii)THINGS TO REMEMBER
A few things to remember to display in your menus that you create:
HP,MP,ITEMS,EXIT,SAVE,RESUME GAME,MAGIC,EQUIPMENT,or even a
link to the system menu :).

IV)WRAPPING IT UP
