A brief but efficient tut that explains a new method as to having your characters level.

Body

Hello peeps! I just thought Id be nice and like... show you how to make the system of leveling thats in my game - for yours. The reason? Its adds more to character customization, and you can really build off it! Lets get started shall we?

------------------------------------------------------------
THE BASIC IDEA
------------------------------------------------------------

Simply, this system is a simplified version of the one in my game that adds 5 points to your characters SP (statistic points) total every time they gain a custom level, so that s/he may spend them on raising her attributes like attack and HP.

This CAN be modified to be used for the DBS, but I wont explain that.

------------------------------------------------------------
SETTING UP SP GIVEROONI
------------------------------------------------------------

The SP Giverooni is a common event that will give your character 5 SP every time there level increases.
It should have the switch, "SPGiverooni" as its starting condition (turn it on at the start of the game, or when leveling becomes available) and make it a Parellel Process.
Now enter the following commands:

Change Var: [0001: CharaLevel] (Set) - 1
Change Var: [0002: CharaExp] (Set) - 0
Cycle
Fork Cond: [0001: CharaLevel] = 1

Fork Cond: [0002: CharaExp] = 200
Change Var: [0003: CharaSP] + 5
Change Var: [0001: CharaLevel] + 1
End Case
End Case

Fork Cond: [0001: CharaLevel] = 2

Fork Cond: [0002: CharaExp] = 400
Change Var: [0003: CharaSP] + 5
Change Var: [0001: CharaLevel] + 1
End Case
End Case

And keep going until you have it all done. Its quite a bit of programming I know, but copying a pasting cuts a little bit of time and causes major confusion sometimes! Yay!
Anyway, now make sure you add exp to the CharaLevel variable :x Youre stupid ok? J/k, youre a very smart person. Youre just reading the tutorials of a complete numbnut like Arcon ^.^
