Note: Might only work for short games, unless you know how to edit this, so that you will teleport to towns that you have already visited in your game.




Well, first of all you need at least a day/night/time system. A tutorial I used is http://www.gamingw.net/content.php?id=35&cat=tutorial

Don't follow all the instructions, jsut the ones you think you will need. And you'll also need a new map called Camp.

NOTE: You don't need the dates all you need is the time.

Well, after you've done that, make a new common event for the time system. Make the event start conditon Parallel process. I'll show what I did for the events.

(NOTE: ####= MAP NUMBER and ###= Position on the map)

Ok, now the position on the Camp map, you'll need to make a new event for when the hero teleports to that position, it'll add a hour, so it won't keep on showing the message "Its time to make a camp.

Heres what I did:

PAGE 1

Now you might ask, why would someone wait 2 game hours in the game dooing nothing?

Well, I didn't say it was the end of the tutorial yet. All you need now is a few unkillable monsters. Not too much and not too little. Just enough so you won't get surrounded.

Now for the resting. Go to your database, Common Events. Make a new event. it should look something like this:

<>Messg: (Something the hero will say before getting some sleep)

Now its time for getting out of the camp. Copy everthing in the day/night common event and paste everything in a common event called day/night 2. Make the Appearence Conditions Switch the first quest you ever get. (A switch that makes you go on a journey) Now make a new event in the 24 hr fork option thing.
It should look something like this:

<>Select Face Graphic: (Hero's Face)

<>Teleport: To the world map near the beggining of the game if you have one. If you don't than teleport to a town.

For Area 2 it should look something like this:

<>Teleport: A place somewhere in area 2.

Well, thats the end of the tutorial.
