Tutorial about easy image positioning using X and Y coordinates stored in variables.

Body

I made this on rm2k3 :)

- Variables that you should make.

0001: X
0002: Y
0003: Input

- Make an event on the map or a common event and set it to parallel processing or auto start if you don't want you here moving too.

<>Key Input [0003:Input] (make sure you check 1,2,3,4,6 or ESC/Cancel key

>> DO NOT PUT A CHECK ON WAIT UNTIL KEY PRESSED)

' UP, DOWN, LEFT and RIGHT picture movement
<>Branch if Variable [0003:Input] is 1
<>>Variable Oper: [0002:Y]+,1
<>>
:End
<>Branch if Variable [0003:Input] is 2
<>>Variable Oper: [0002:Y]-,1
<>>
:End
<>Branch if Variable [0003:Input] is 3
<>>Variable Oper: [0001:X]+,1
<>>
:End
<>Branch if Variable [0003:Input] is 4
<>>Variable Oper: [0001:X]-,1
<>>
:End
' Shows desired picture
<>Show Picture (V[0001],V[0002])

'Shows X, Y coordinate of the desired picture if esc key is pressed
<>Branch if Variable [0003:Input] is 6
<>>Message X = \v[1] , Y = \v[2]
:
:End

'Really important if you want accurate X,Y calculations
Wait 0.1 Sec

---END-------

That saves a humongous chunk of time!

Thanks
